The grapes for this wine were sourced from the acclaimed region of Mudgee. A fine example of a traditional Mudgee Cabernet, the wine displays the earthy characteristics of the terrior complemented by fine tannins. It is generous and full bodied with rounded, stewed plum fruit weight and subtle aniseed, spice and pepper.

Reductive, blackcurrant, spicy coconut. Spicy oak, balanced tannin/acid and nice finish, maybe little drying at end.

  2. 85

Touch on the underripe side. Lacking a bit of fruit depth.
