Our two blocks of Shiraz grapes, Block 6 and Block 9, were harvested from our Redwind vineyard at optimal ripeness. They were fermented in open fermenters where they were hand plunged, racked and returned and pumped over. After pressing all the wine went to French oak for maturation and was kept separate. Block 6 provides the floral and red fruit characteristics whilst the Block 9 delivers the richness and backbone of the wine. No fining or filtration was used in order to capture as much of the wines natural beauty as possible.

Rhubarb crumble. Oak above the parapet. Richness to the palate – cocoa – darker berries. Worth ruminating over.

  2. 90

Red fruits. Dried herbs. Mulberries. Forest floor. Simple.

  3. 90

Looking just a little forward. Nice wine.
